What Crossfit Means to Me.
Now, with a solid 9 years under my belt within the fitness industry, I can definitely say that I have found my niche in life. I have now been affiliated with Crossfit for nearly 4 years, (2009), over this time, and with true experience, my views on health and fitness have changed regularly, however, the one thing that has always stayed constant, is the thrill I get when I coach.
The thrill is hard to describe, I guess it can only be felt by a coach.
When you can be a major player, support network, or catalyst in someone achieving what they once thought impossible, you go home feeling pretty proud. It’s one of those feelings that money just can’t buy.
I coach because I have a genuine passion for being around and helping people.
I coach because providing someone with an hour of true happiness during their day can be a game changer in what happens in one person’s day.
I coach because fitness is what I love! I figure, if I can help a bunch of people feel like I do every day, there is going to be a handful of pretty damn happy people walking the streets.
The people I meet through doing my job are amazing, so many walks of life, so many differing goals, so many differing personalities, and so many differing challenges. It means my job is always changing, it’s always exiting, there is always something new, and nobody is the same, so I am constantly presented with challenges..
To be part of a goal: the setting of a goal, the raining down of a goal, the achieving of a goal is amazing. The satisfaction of watching this process unfold and guiding someone to this achievement is awesome, this is why I coach.
